Our Martial Arts Philosophy

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean style of martial arts that dates back to the Koguryo dynasty as early as 57 BC. Today it is one of the largest organizations of martial arts in the world. ETO has developed a unique program that combines traditional Tae Kwon Do practices with Chinese, Japanese, and American techniques coupled with safe exercise principles and lots of FUN.

ETO's Founder

ETO's founder, Missan Edwards, began her martial arts journey over 40 years ago. In addition to martial arts, Missan is a nationally certified aerobics instructor and has won several cardio kickboxing and aerobics titles including National Step Aerobics Champion. Missan's diverse background in martial arts and aerobics brings to ETO an innovative program that incorporates the best of all styles. Missan is an accomplished Martial Arts competitor and instructor who strongly believes that martial artists should continue to evolve and not limit themselves to only one style.
