Group & Community Self Defense
September 15th, 7pm-8:30pm
*No previous martial arts experience is required.
Whether you're starting your first semester or returning to campus, confidence begins with preparation. Our Back-to-Campus Self-Defense Workshop is designed to teach practical awareness, prevention, and self-defense skills that can help students stay safer in everyday situations.
Participants will learn:
Situational awareness and recognizing potential threats
Personal safety strategies for walking across campus
Parking lot and nighttime safety
How to create distance and escape dangerous situations
Verbal de-escalation and setting boundaries
Basic self-defense techniques for real-world scenarios
What to do if grabbed or confronted
Everyday safety tips for dorms, apartments, and public transportation
This workshop emphasizes awareness, confidence, and practical decision-making. The goal is to help students avoid dangerous situations whenever possible while giving them simple, effective techniques they can remember under stress.

CPR & First Aid Certification
September 19th, 1pm-3pm
*No previous martial arts experience is required.
Learn Skills That Could Save a Life!
Emergencies can happen anywhere. This hands-on certification workshop teaches essential CPR and basic first aid skills for adults, children, and infants.
Topics include:
Adult CPR
Child CPR
AED use
Choking emergencies
Basic first aid response
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive CPR certification
Perfect for: Parents, teachers, coaches, babysitters, healthcare students, and anyone who wants to be prepared.
*ETO Black Belts recommends are required to obtain up to date CPR certification prior to testing.
