Established in 1993, ETO Martial Arts & Fitness is a family owned and operated business headquartered in downtown Kennesaw GA. ETO specializes in a blended style martial arts program and exercise for all ages and fitness levels. ETO is a proven community partner offering additional services including self defense training, CPR classes, team building, special events and performances by The Storm Demonstration Team. ETO also offers a full line pro-shop featuring fitness products, apparel, and recognition awards.
Our Martial Arts Philosophy
Tae Kwon Do is a Korean style of martial arts that dates back to the Koguryo dynasty as early as 57 BC. Today it is one of the largest organizations of martial arts in the world. ETO has developed a unique program that combines traditional Tae Kwon Do practices with Chinese, Japanese, and American techniques coupled with safe exercise principles and lots of FUN.

Miss Missan

Miss Missan began her martial arts journey more than 40 years ago and has dedicated her life to the study, practice, and instruction of martial arts. As the Founder and Head Instructor of ETO Martial Arts, she brings decades of experience, passion, and a commitment to helping others develop confidence, discipline, fitness, and practical self-defense skills.
In addition to her extensive martial arts background, Miss Missan is a nationally certified aerobics instructor and accomplished fitness competitor. She has earned numerous titles in cardio kickboxing and aerobics, including National Step Aerobics Champion.
Her experience extends beyond traditional martial arts training. Miss Missan has extensive experience in dance and martial arts choreography, bringing movement, creativity, athleticism, and performance together in dynamic demonstrations. She also serves as the Head Coach of ETO’s Storm Demonstration Team, where she develops and choreographs high-energy performances that showcase the power, discipline, and artistry of martial arts.
Miss Missan is also a sought-after Self Defense instructor for community groups and organizations, sharing practical skills and empowering individuals with greater awareness, confidence, and the ability to protect themselves.
Her diverse background has helped shape ETO’s innovative approach to martial arts training—combining proven techniques and principles from multiple disciplines to create a well-rounded, dynamic, and engaging training experience.
As a competitor, instructor, choreographer, and lifelong student of martial arts, Miss Missan believes strongly in the importance of continued growth and evolution. She encourages martial artists to explore beyond a single style, develop a broad range of skills, and remain open to learning throughout their journey.
Her passion, experience, and commitment to continuous improvement are at the heart of ETO Martial Arts.
MR Doug

Mr. Doug is the Head Instructor at ETO Martial Arts & Fitness, where he leads instruction and oversees the school’s operations, graphic design, and awards programs. With more than 40 years of martial arts experience and a background in wrestling, he brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and dedication to every class.
His areas of specialty include grappling, power techniques, and advanced board and brick breaking. His wrestling background has further strengthened his expertise in grappling, balance, takedowns, and practical movement.
In addition to his martial arts expertise, Mr. Doug is a certified CPR instructor with the American Red Cross, reflecting his commitment to safety and the well-being of his students.
Mr. Doug also serves as a board member of the Kennesaw Downtown Development Authority (KDDA), contributing his experience and dedication to the continued growth and development of the Kennesaw community.
Mr. Doug is passionate about helping students of all ages build confidence, discipline, strength, and character while developing their martial arts skills. His commitment to high-quality training and personal growth inspires students to challenge themselves, set goals, and reach their full potential—both on and off the mat.
Miss Staci

Miss Staci is a 5th Degree Black Belt with more than 20 years of martial arts experience. She started training at ETO when she was just 8 years old, originally looking to build confidence—and that same goal continues to inspire her as an instructor today.
She helps lead communications and student development at ETO, with a focus on flexibility, power, and strength. She especially loves working with our Little Dragons and helping young students build confidence, coordination, discipline, and strong fundamentals.
Miss Staci is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a degree in Business Communications, where she also led the university’s Student Martial Arts Club.
She’s passionate about helping every student discover their own confidence, strength, and potential.
Miss Meena

Meena began her martial arts journey at just 3½ years old and has dedicated more than 20 years to training, teaching, and growing through the martial arts. A talented gymnast as well, Meena developed a strong foundation in movement, flexibility, coordination, and body control from an early age.
She is a 5th Degree Black Belt and plays an integral role at ETO, leading our marketing efforts, managing finance, and inspiring students as an instructor. Her specialties include tumbling, flexibility, sparring, forms, weapons, and board breaking.
Meena graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Business, Risk Management and Insurance. During her time at UGA, she was an active member of the Karate Club.
Meena is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop their skills, and reach their full potential.
